My recruitment career spans over 10 years and has led me through international environments, allowing me to experience working with people from all over the world. Throughout that decade I have had the pleasure of supporting people - from executive-level roles to customer-facing positions - into new roles, offering support and advice and making introductions that have created new opportunities for the talent within my network.

Over the years I have built up an exciting network of talent, colleagues who became friends and customers that became followers. Recruiting and placing people right across Europe, into a genuinely wide spectrum of roles, and realizing that the market is missing specialist travel and leisure industry expertise has ultimately led me to the birth of Pronto.

With 14 years of dedicated experience in the Travel Industry, Sasha has cultivated a profound passion for this dynamic sector.

Sasha's career journey has provided his with valuable opportunities to collaborate with the UK's leading tour operators, Europe's distinguished hoteliers, and the World's foremost Online Travel Agencies (OTA).

Throughout Sasha's extensive tenure in the industry, he had the privilege of working in various countries and diverse travel sectors. This diverse exposure has enabled him to cultivate a comprehensive understanding of the intricate web of connections that underpin the industry's ability to deliver the ultimate goal for consumers.

Sasha's forte lies in Sales, Business Development, and Account Management, areas that he considers critical in ensuring success. He firmly believes in the importance of treating each partner and candidate as unique individuals, delving into their specific goals to facilitate the perfect match between a travel business and its future employees.

Ellie is a people-oriented professional with a passion for shaping company culture, driving recruitment excellence, enhancing employee value proposition, and fueling company growth. Ellie is the Talent Strategy Manager at Recruitment Entrepreneur, where she supports Sathya, the Founder of Pronto, in sourcing the best talent for her growing business. With almost a decade of experience, Ellie has worked within recruitment agencies, building and managing her own team, and now works with Founders to start and scale their own business.

Ellie provides support to Pronto, ensuring the TA strategy is as strong as it can be, throughout the interview, offer and induction stage of their process. She works with businesses to map the market and use the unique selling points of their vision to pitch to potential hires.

Earlier in her career, Ellie was Associate Director with ISE Partners (part of the Pertemps Network Group), placing talent within alternative investment and professional services, as well as heading up the Temporary Recruitment desk. Ellie joined ISE after graduating in Economics and Finance at Cardiff University. 

Ellie has also attained a Recruitment & Employment Confederation Certificate in Recruitment Practice (REC CertRP). 

Sophie is a dedicated learning and development professional with a rich history of contributions in this field. As the International Learning & Development Manager for Pronto and Recruitment Entrepreneur, she holds a pivotal role responsible for conceiving and developing Pronto’s L&D strategy. 

In her prior role, Sophie led the build out of the global L&D function, creating and implementing L&D strategies across multiple offices within EMEA, APAC and collaborating closely with the US. She established consistent global solutions and partnered with key stakeholders, including board-level executives, to implement tailored learning and people initiatives. Sophie also played a significant role in selecting and implementing learning technology and ran a Leadership Development Program with 80 leaders across 4 businesses.

Her earlier experience as a Learning and Development Business Partner at Reed Talent Solutions further enriched her L&D expertise, involving training needs assessments, designing bespoke training, and mentorship. Sophie's diverse career journey reflects her profound impact on the learning and development landscape and her commitment to driving excellence in talent development.

Mariano Cañas, who is Board Member for Pronto and Portfolio Manager for Recruitment Entrepreneur Spain , has 20+ years of experience in the recruitment industry.

He held management roles at Catenon Worldwide Executive Search, Experis España, and ManpowerGroup Solutions.

Most recently, he served as Operations and Business Development Director at The Key Talent, specializing in agile HR platforms for efficient and data-driven recruitment, assessment, and training. 

Mariano prioritizes customers, candidates, and employees, using data-driven strategies and fostering a robust decision-making culture – and supports Sathya and Pronto in their exciting expansion plans.

He previously attended executive programs on digital business and data management at ISDI and Harvard Business School.

Often recognised outside the industry for his appearance in the BBC’s Dragon’s Den series, James Caan CBE has been in recruitment for over 30 years and invests and supports recruitment companies of all sizes across various geographies and sectors. 

Alexander Mann, his first recruitment business, sold in 2013 for $350 million. His second recruitment venture, Humana International, grew to 140 offices across 30 countries. His third sale was a collection of six recruitment companies to Graphite Capital in 2014 for $150m.

James takes an active role in contributing towards the strategy of Pronto, working closely with Sathya John to support the business’ exciting growth plans and vision.

Based in Greater Madrid Metropolitan Area, Pablo is part of Pronto's Board of Directors and Country Manager for Recruitment Entrepreneur Spain. As part of Pronto's experts, Pablo supports Sathya and the business in its strategic developments.

Starting at Accenture in 2005, Pablo held leadership positions at GMV and became Chief Integration Officer. In 2013, he joined Catenon as the Managing Director for the Middle East and Turkey, fostering strong relationships with clients, partners, and candidates.

Pablo's expertise lies in identifying exceptional individuals who have consistently excelled in their careers, helping Founders and new businesses thrive in a competitive market.

Tony is Board Member for Pronto, and Global Investment Director for Recruitment Entrepreneur US. With over 22 years in recruitment, Tony began by founding his own company after a successful sales career at IMI and Marconi Communications.

Tony was headhunted by Belcan, where he completed a successful turnaround project with their International Staffing division, increasing NFI, headcount, and EBITDA.

He has significant international recruitment experience, having set up operations and partnerships across Europe, USA, and Asia, and executed financial and sales strategies while negotiating commercial agreements and multiple acquisition deals in the past 5 years.
